Are you worried about wall mounting of your flat screen TV? It’s nothing to worry, if you read this article. A TV wall mount bracket is the first thing you need for wall mounting of your TV.
There are three types of wall mounting of your flat screen TV which essentially depend upon the three types of wall mount brackets. The brackets available in the market include low-profile, tilting and full-motion wall mounts. Each of them have their distinct plus and minus points. Let’s look at the different Flat Screen TV Wall Mounts
TV Wall Mount Using Low-Profile Brackets
Mounting a flat TV using a low-profile bracket is the most convenient option than other two available options and is the lowest-cost option too. The low-profile bracket is as simple to install as you hang a portrait on the wall. Despite being an easiest way to install, it comes with a drawback that your TV cannot be moved from its position when you wall mount it. This is a disadvantage that makes it difficult to change cables of your TV. It’s being a flat TV and mounted on a flat wall, it’s not possible to change cables without displacing the TV from the wall.
TV Wall Mount Using Tilting Brackets
These brackets are bit costlier than the low-profile ones but are cheaper than the full-motion wall mounting brackets. The installation of this type of brackets is not very complicated, and akin to a low-profile mount. The key benefit that a titling wall mounting gives you that you will be able to set your vertical angle viewing, which is not possible in a low-profile mount. These mounting brackets have a spin in the middle of the brackets. This pivot helps to maintain a great viewing angle as per the convenience of the viewer. It’s not so difficult to change cables in a tilting mount, which is virtually impossible in case of a low-profile mount.
TV Wall Mount Using Full-Motion Brackets
Full-motion wall mounts give your wall-mounted TV a full motion and of course a higher cost is associated with it. Other two types of the mounts are less expensive than a full-motion mount. Installation of a full-motion mount involves a great degree of complexity. The moving piece or arms coming with this type of mount make it rather complex to install. While installing this type of mount, one needs at least 2-3 extra men who will help you in hanging your TV on the wall using a full-motion mount.
